Kojima, Okayama Prefecture, is a world-famous denim production area.
MOMOTARO JEANS was born in 2006 in this place where traditional techniques and history are passed down.
At this event, we have prepared a wide selection of items, including tops and denim jackets crafted with meticulous attention to detail—from fabric selection, dyeing, and weaving to the final stitching—featuring materials such as silk and cashmere, which are notoriously difficult to work with.
The venue will also offer a hemming service using a Union Special chain stitch machine, developed around 1880, specifically for hemming pants.
The hem is finished with chain stitching, so the longer you wear it, the more you can enjoy the unique texture of Union Special.
This is an opportunity to see the final process of sewing jeans, so please feel free to drop by.
